I’m Irma, founder of Mamamuti and someone with a completely unreasonable love affair with cacao.
If you’re already part of the love bubble, welcome back. I’ve missed you. If you’re new around here… buckle up. You’re about to discover one of the most nutrient-dense, ridiculously delicious ancient foods on the planet. (Yes, I’m biased. Occupational hazard.)
Mamamuti is the love child of passion, purpose, and a village of extraordinary humans. We honour cacao’s ancient story while celebrating the people who grow it, craft it, and bring it to your cup.
We believe pleasure and purpose belong in the same mug. Our cacao is ethically sourced, our supply chain is transparent, and every bag supports the incredible farming communities we work alongside in the Pacific Islands. Because delicious things should also do good.
So when you welcome Mamamuti into your home, you’re not just buying cacao. You’re joining a community of curious, pleasure-seeking humans who believe life tastes better with a really good cup in hand.

Okay okay, this all sounds great… but what is Cacao?
“If it’s not chocolate, what exactly is it?” people often ask. I understand the confusion. Chocolate, in its modern form, is often sugary and highly processed. Before I uncovered my passion for Cacao, chocolate was my go-to when I felt blue. Sick? Chocolate. Menstruating? Chocolate. A breakup? Chocolate. You get my point. But when I connected with Cacao, I discovered that it wasn’t a sugar fix I needed in the challenging times. It was something more.
